Probably the easiest way (but not the most efficient) is just to use a T-chart, and plug in various values for \(x\), and see what we get for \(y\). It doesn’t matter what you put in for \(x\), but unless the numbers in the equation are very big or very small, just put numbers close to 0 .  Remember that it only takes 2 points to draw a line!
